reminisce that I watched some Thai movies on Netflix during the pandemic.
these movies always showed this big Buddha statue.
I told myself next time I’m in Bangkok, I have to see it.

finally, in 2023, the day before the Songkran festival.
my friend from Bangkok went there with me.
Big thanks to my friend !
since I didn‘t Google a lot how to get there...haha

those little alleys, the local streets, and the tuk-tuks that are more like songthaews.
I’m so grateful to have a friend who knows the way.
We went through some alleys and got to the most popular photo spot at Wat Paknam.
I didn’t even have to do any research, just followed my friend.

If you’re taking a boat,
they say the cheapest way is to get on from inside Wat Paknam ~

還記得在疫情時期在Netflix看了幾部泰國電影
都會拍到這尊大佛像
那時就心心念念下次到曼谷一定要去拍

感謝我的曼谷朋友帶我去
那些小巷、當地街區才有的像雙條的嘟嘟車
都多虧熟門熟路的朋友帶路
穿過小巷來到了水門寺最多人拍照的點
我完全不用做功課無腦跟著朋友到達

如果要搭船的話
據說是去水門寺裡面搭最便宜 ~

almost 6 years since I last came to the Grand Palace.
I went with my friends during the New Year‘s celebration from 2023 to 2024.

I forgot that on 1/1, everyone takes time off from work,
so we couldn’t get in to take tour since there are so many ppl.

but don‘t worry,
I had a plan B
yeah~ we could still go to the coffee shops on the other side of Wat Arun.

but......damnnnnnn
haha still
too many ppl,
so every coffee shop didn’t have free seats.

Don‘t know when I’ll have time to go to the Grand Palace again.
If I have time to visit BKK again, I hope I can go there again.

大概6年沒來大皇宮
跨年隔天來
我完全忘記這是大家都放假的日子
想當然是進不去的

只好改B計畫
去附近的咖啡店看鄭王廟日落
結果...哈哈靠
真的是計畫趕不上變化
每間打電話去都是滿滿滿

大皇宮不知道何時還有時間再進去參觀
裡面真的很大
很有看頭
有機會還會想再去

Liberty Square (AKA Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall)

Liberty Square (AKA Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall) has the Changing of the Guard ceremony every hour.

I recently went with a friend, and when we arrived, I checked the time—it was almost on the hour. We hurried inside the building, aiming to take the elevator to the 4th floor, where the ceremony usually takes place.

Once inside, I asked the security guard where the elevator was, but thankfully, I did! He told me the ceremony has been moved outside now, so we could just wait on the ground floor.

I guess it’s because it’s too hot on the 4th floor right now since it‘s partially outdoors.

問警衛電梯在哪? 以往都是要在建築物4樓的大廳看
警衛說是要看交接儀式嗎? 不用上去，在一樓等就好
就順利解鎖看到交接儀式了
可能是天氣太熱移到戶外

為了去威權及個人崇拜，儀隊的值勤方式將會有所調整，2024年7月15號開始，原本三軍儀隊撤離大廳，改為巡查正堂外圍，並在民主大道進行戶外展演，結束再返回備勤室。

Koh Lipe is my favorite island, although getting there is far and inconvenient.

There are lots of places to explore in Thailand, so I’m not sure when I will get back there.

令人懷念的海 🌞

這是我最喜歡的泰國小島 — 麗貝島 🏝️
沒有「之一」，至少目前是。
即使它很遠，下次去應該也還是會從馬來西亞進去。

那時候去世 2020 年剛過完農曆年去的，差幾週馬來西亞就鎖國了，還好沒遇上，因為幫朋友買的一箱咖啡還有自己的一點東西都寄放在馬來西亞飯店呢！

這幾年一直想再去，結果還是只在曼谷、清邁週邊活動，泰國真的太多地方能去，想著從曼谷過去太舟車勞頓，就一直沒去了。

大概就是因為不方便抵達，加上當時去幾乎沒什麼遊客了，旅遊品質超好，讓我一直非常想念這座小島。💛

There are three famous beaches in Phuket.

1⃣ Batong Beach
2⃣ Karon Beach
3⃣ Kata Beach

This scene was taken near Karon Beach.

It's a restaurant and resort called on the hill Karon restaurant(resort), you don't need to stay at this resort just walk-in the restaurant have lunch or afternoon tea, and can easily see this breathtaking view.
